Employment Type: Full-time - Hybrid (3/4 days in the office)

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join a major dock regeneration project in Southwark. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Planner with strong experience in reinforced concrete (RC) and concrete construction, combined with a solid understanding of NEC contracts and advanced proficiency in Primavera P6. You will play a key role in developing, managing and reporting against the project programme, working closely with project delivery teams, subcontractors, and senior stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and maintain detailed project programmes using Primavera P6.
  • Monitor progress against baseline programmes and identify potential delays, risks, and opportunities.
  • Prepare regular programme updates, progress reports, and schedule analysis.
  • Support the development of short-, medium-, and long-term programmes.
  • Work closely with project managers, site teams, commercial teams, and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate programme interfaces and manage key project dependencies.
  • Develop mitigation, recovery, and acceleration programmes where required.
  • Provide planning input into project reviews, risk management, and change control.
  • Support the commercial and project teams in relation to programme matters under NEC contract arrangements.
  • Assist with the assessment of delay, change, and programme impacts.
  • Ensure the project programme reflects construction methodology, sequencing, and delivery requirements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
