Are you an experienced Senior Planner or a Planner looking for your next career step or move? Do you have a passion for delivering large-scale energy infrastructure projects? BAM UK&Ireland's Infrastructure Segment is looking for a Senior Planner to join the Eastern Green Link 2 project team, which is responsible for a vital new electricity link, strengthening the grid and supporting the UK's renewable energy goals. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in a high-profile project that runs until 2029.

  • Collaborate closely with the Project Managers, Interface and Design Managers, Construction and Commercial teams for the Wren Hall site.
  • Engage with key stakeholders, including the client’s site Planning Team, as well as specialist supply chain partners.
  • Work with the Planning teams to finalise monthly reporting, including managing payment milestones and assist with the management of the value of work done (earned value) within the P6 programme.
  • Track progress on site, analyse programme performance and identify risks, opportunities and mitigation measures.
  • Support the production of change programmes and narratives aligned with the FIDIC contract procedure in a timely manner, ensuring smooth communication and contract compliance.
  • Support the development and updates of project schedules, ensuring that change control, progress tracking, and resource allocation are accurately handled throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support site-specific project controls with partial responsibility in supporting the Project Controls Manager.
  • Draft internal and external reporting on programme progress in line with project-specific procedures, including risks and opportunities, ensuring transparency and effective communication with all stakeholders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
