Our focus is to deliver the best possible media value for clients through leveraged media buying, sustainable media income and enable innovation with the supply-side with product, services and capabilities.
Purpose of the Role
As a Senior Planning Executive, you will join an out-of-home planning team with a dual focus. The team supports local store activity for dentsu clients, including planning around new locations, and provides out-of-home solutions for independent media agencies and their clients.
You will work across both areas of the team, helping to deliver accurate and effective campaigns across a varied mix of high-volume local activity and larger, more detailed briefs. This role suits someone with out-of-home media experience who is organised, detail-focused and ready to take ownership of campaigns while supporting colleagues and stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Plan and support out-of-home campaigns across a range of clients and independent agency partners.
- Manage complex local store support activity, selecting media locations individually for each campaign.
- Own smaller campaigns for independent agency clients from brief through to delivery.
- Coordinate multiple briefs, deadlines and stakeholders while maintaining a high standard of accuracy.
- Work closely with account managers, assistants and senior team members to keep activity progressing.
- Participate in client and agency meetings and prepare clear plans and occasional presentations to communicate recommendations.
- Use Excel and internal planning tools to organise, review and manage campaign information.
- Guide and support assistants on local store activity and established team processes.
- Build productive working relationships across the team and with client and agency contacts.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
