Overview
A media agency based in West London is hiring a Senior Planning Executive to join their planning team on a permanent, full-time basis. The role is hybrid, with three to four days a week in the West London office.
This role sits at the heart of a high-profile financial services account, where the expectation is genuine ownership, not just task execution. You will be managing campaign workflows, interpreting audience and market data, and building the kind of trusted client relationship where your recommendations actually shape decisions. Financial services is a demanding category: compliance constraints, careful sign-off processes, and stakeholders who expect rigour. For someone who thrives on that complexity and brings a media agency instinct for pace and client service, this is a role with real substance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day delivery of integrated campaigns, keeping work accurate and on schedule
- Act as a trusted client contact, communicating updates and managing expectations clearly
- Own campaign workflows, including budget management, spend tracking, and query resolution
- Gather and interpret market, competitor, and audience insight to inform planning
- Contribute to media strategy development, turning data into clear, actionable recommendations
- Monitor campaign performance and identify optimisation opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams and partner agencies to deliver connected campaigns
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
