Senior Planning Manager - Tech & Ecommerce Brand - £45-50k
A leading London media agency is looking for a Senior Media Manager to join a growing team working with an innovative, creative-led brand.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced media professional who enjoys strategic planning, creative thinking, and pushing the boundaries of what media can do. The client is ambitious and open to new ideas, giving you the opportunity to shape strategy, influence campaigns, and make a genuine commercial impact.
The role
You’ll take a senior role in managing and growing client accounts, leading strategic media planning, and developing innovative approaches across multiple channels.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading client relationships and acting as a trusted strategic partner.
- Developing and delivering insight-led media strategies and integrated plans.
- Responding to briefs with thoughtful, innovative, and commercially focused recommendations.
- Identifying opportunities to grow accounts, improve performance, and introduce new ideas.
- Championing media-first thinking, innovation, and creative approaches across campaigns.
- Managing budgets and ensuring activity delivers strong value for clients.
- Working closely with internal teams, media owners, partners, and external agencies.
- Providing leadership, guidance, and support to more junior team members.
- Overseeing the quality and delivery of work across accounts.
- Contributing to new business pitches and wider agency growth.
- Staying ahead of media trends, emerging platforms, and new opportunities.

What we’re looking for
- Strong experience in media planning across multiple channels, ideally within an agency environment.
- Experience of media buying is beneficial but not essential.
- Proven experience managing senior client relationships and influencing stakeholders.
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to turn insights into clear recommendations.
- Confident communication, presentation, and writing skills.
- Strong commercial awareness, including experience managing budgets and delivering value.
- A proactive, ideas-led approach with a genuine interest in innovation.
- Experience managing, mentoring, or developing junior team members.
- Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A strong understanding of the evolving media landscape and enthusiasm for new opportunities.
