Senior Plant Technician & Operations Coordinator
Biophilic Designs | London
Location: Central London client sites, with home-based administration and coordination
We are a specialist interior planting and biophilic design business working across commercial offices, hospitality, private clients, and high-profile workplace environments.
We design, install, and maintain planting schemes across central London, including interior planting, exterior terraces, preserved moss, living walls, bespoke planters, and project-led biophilic installations.
The business is small, established, and hands-on, with a strong client base and a reputation for thoughtful, high-quality work. We are now looking for an ambitious and practical individual to work closely with the founder across the day-to-day running and future development of the business.
The Role
Plant Care and Practical Delivery
- Maintain indoor and outdoor planting across client sites, including watering, feeding, pruning, cleaning, and presentation.
- Identify plant health issues, pests, and unsuitable growing conditions, and recommend appropriate action.
- Arrange and carry out plant replacements and improvements.
- Assist with installations, site preparation, and the movement of plants, planters, and materials.
- Maintain consistent standards and record any issues requiring follow-up.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
