Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to support the delivery of secure, scalable, and cloud-native platform solutions within a public sector environment. The successful candidate will have strong experience with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, identity and access management, and modern DevOps practices. Experience with data migration projects is considered advantageous.
What you will do
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud platform solutions.
- Configure and support ACP/Core Cloud environments.
- Implement and manage identity and access management solutions using Keycloak and Microsoft Entra.
- Support object storage solutions using Amazon S3.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain MongoDB and PostgreSQL databases.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters.
- Build, deploy, and support containerized applications using Docker.
- Configure and manage Kubernetes autoscaling using Karpenter.
- Monitor platform performance and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
- Automate deployment and operational processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve platform reliability and delivery efficiency.
- Support data migration activities where required.
- Maintain technical documentation and implementation standards.
- Follow DevOps best practices to ensure secure, scalable, and highly available environments.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer or in a similar DevOps or Cloud Engineering role.
- Strong experience with ACP/Core Cloud platforms.
- Experience implementing identity and access management solutions using Keycloak and Microsoft Entra.
- Experience with Amazon S3 object storage.
- Proficiency administering MongoDB and PostgreSQL databases.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience implementing Kubernetes autoscaling using Karpenter.
- Understanding of cloud-native architectures and container orchestration.
- Experience working within Agile and DevOps delivery environments.
- Data migration experience is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- UK Passport Holder.
- Eligible to obtain BPSS clearance and transfer SC clearance (approximately seven-week onboarding process).
