As a Senior Platform Engineer, you’ll help shape the technology foundations that power data, analytics and AI across PZ Cussons. You'll play a pivotal role in designing and evolving our Azure Data & AI platform, making sure it is secure, scalable, reliable and ready for the future. Working across engineering, analytics, infrastructure and business teams, you'll help unlock trusted data products and AI capabilities that support better decisions and meaningful business outcomes. This is an opportunity to combine deep technical expertise with real influence, helping define standards, accelerate innovation and create lasting impact across a global organisation.
What You'll Be Doing
- Build and continuously improve the Azure Data & AI platform, creating secure, scalable and automated foundations that enable analytics and AI across the business.
- Drive infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD best practices through Terraform and GitHub Actions, helping teams deliver platform capabilities quickly, consistently and safely.
- Develop reusable data engineering patterns that improve the quality, reliability and accessibility of data across multiple source systems and products.
- Strengthen platform resilience through monitoring, observability, security controls and proactive optimisation of performance and cost.
- Champion engineering excellence by establishing standards, improving deployment governance and supporting high-quality delivery across the platform lifecycle.
- Share knowledge, mentor colleagues and help grow platform and data engineering capability across the wider team.

What You'll Bring
- Strong experience in Azure platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevOps automation or a similar senior engineering role.
- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure services, particularly data and AI platform technologies, networking, security, identity and monitoring.
- Proven experience using Terraform and infrastructure-as-code approaches to build secure, repeatable and scalable solutions.
- Experience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments and release governance using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
- Strong understanding of data engineering concepts, including data ingestion, orchestration, transformation, validation and data quality.
- Confidence working with tools such as SQL, Python or Azure CLI, alongside excellent problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
