Cloud Platform Engineer
We're looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer to help design and deliver a scalable, secure enterprise platform on Azure, supporting advanced analytics and business intelligence.
What you'll be doing
- Designing and delivering scalable Azure-based platform components
- Building and maintaining Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Developing and optimising CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions)
- Implementing observability (logging, metrics, alerting)
- Collaborating with architects and senior engineers on platform design
- Driving best practices in automation, security, and performance
- Supporting and mentoring engineers within the team

What we're looking for
- Strong experience in platform engineering within Azure environments
- Expertise across Azure services (e.g. Data Factory, Data Lake, Azure ML, Power BI/Fabric)
- Proven experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions)
- Strong understanding of observability and performance optimisation
- Solid cloud security knowledge (IAM, network isolation, data protection)
- Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
- Experience mentoring or supporting other engineers (desirable)
