About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Platform Engineer to design, build and evolve the cloud platform that powers Full Health Medical.
This is a senior, hands-on engineering role responsible for the infrastructure, tooling and automation that enables our engineering teams to deliver software quickly, safely and reliably. You’ll work across AWS, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, GitOps and observability technologies to build a highly scalable and resilient platform that supports our multi-tenant SaaS products.
You’ll partner closely with software engineers to improve deployment workflows, developer experience and platform capabilities while ensuring our infrastructure remains secure, reliable and operationally efficient.
We’re looking for someone with an automation-first mindset who believes infrastructure should be treated as software. Manual processes should be eliminated wherever possible, environments should be reproducible, and operational excellence should be engineered into the platform from the outset.
This is not an operations management role. We’re looking for someone who enjoys building platforms, solving complex technical challenges and writing code to automate infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and operate secure, scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Own and continuously evolve our Kubernetes platform, ensuring reliability, resilience and operational excellence.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and drive an automation-first approach across the platform.
- Design and maintain GitOps deployment workflows and CI/CD pipelines using ArgoCD and modern DevOps practices.
- Develop reusable platform capabilities that improve developer productivity and enable self-service infrastructure.
- Implement and enhance monitoring, observability and alerting to ensure platform health and rapid incident response.
- Optimise cloud infrastructure for performance, security, scalability and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers to improve deployment processes, developer experience and platform capabilities.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues across cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes and distributed systems.
- Contribute to the technical direction of the platform through hands-on engineering, continuous improvement and the adoption of engineering best practices.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
