As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of complex transformation initiatives across a global, multi-stakeholder environment. You will operate at the intersection of business, technology and operations, providing clear leadership, structure and accountability to ensure successful delivery against strategic objectives.

The role requires strong Loan IQ expertise and experience delivering large-scale Loans / lending platform transformations, with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable delivery plans and drive outcomes across multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead delivery of complex projects and initiatives within the Loans transformation programme, from initiation through implementation and transition to BAU.
  • Own and maintain the integrated project / workstream plan, including milestones, dependencies, critical path and key delivery outcomes.
  • Establish clear delivery objectives, scope, milestones and success criteria across business and technology teams.
  • Own project-level RAID management, ensuring risks and issues are proactively identified, mitigated and escalated appropriately.
  • Manage cross-workstream dependencies and proactively resolve conflicts, blockers and delivery risks.
  • Lead project governance forums, ensuring effective preparation, decision-making, action tracking and follow-through.
  • Provide high-quality executive reporting, translating complex delivery information into clear messages, decisions and recommended actions.
  • Drive accountability across business, technology, operations and vendor stakeholders, ensuring commitments are delivered.
  • Manage project resources and capacity, identifying gaps and working with relevant leads to address constraints.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement across global business, technology and operations teams, including senior leadership.
  • Work closely with vendors and implementation partners to manage deliverables, dependencies, risks, escalations and delivery commitments.
  • Ensure project decisions are clearly documented, with ownership, rationale and follow-up actions.
  • Support financial and commercial management of the project, including budget tracking, forecasting and vendor-related costs where applicable.
  • Identify opportunities to improve delivery effectiveness, processes and ways of working across the programme.
  • Act as a trusted delivery partner to the Programme Lead and senior stakeholders, providing transparency, challenge and actionable recommendations.
  • Apply strong Loan IQ domain and platform knowledge to support solution design, business process decisions, testing, migration, implementation and delivery planning.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
