Senior PMO Analyst - JP Morgan - Bournemouth - Initial 9 Month Contract - PAYE - Hybrid

We are seeking a Senior PMO Analyst preferably with experience within banking or financial services to join JP Morgan's Commercial and Investment Bank Resilience Team in Bournemouth on an initial 9 month contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong PMO or project delivery professional to work within a global financial institution, supporting a range of business improvement initiatives and helping to strengthen how the organisation manages and responds to disruption.

The role is less technical and more focused on project delivery, coordination, stakeholder management and continuous improvement. You will work with teams across the business to keep initiatives moving, track actions and deliverables, and ensure improvements are successfully embedded into business as usual.

What will you be doing?

  • Supporting the delivery of multiple projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the CIB Resilience function
  • Managing project plans, milestones, actions, risks, issues and dependencies
  • Coordinating activities across multiple stakeholders and subject matter experts
  • Tracking deliverables and ensuring owners are clear on actions and deadlines
  • Preparing clear and concise project updates, governance packs and presentations for stakeholders
  • Supporting project meetings, capturing decisions and actions, and ensuring effective follow up
  • Helping to identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and improve existing processes
  • Supporting current state assessments, process mapping and the development of practical improvements
  • Coordinating the implementation of improvements and supporting their transition into business as usual
  • Tracking outcomes and benefits and providing regular updates on progress
  • Managing multiple priorities independently while maintaining excellent attention to detail

What are we looking for?

  • PMO or project coordination within a complex organisation
  • Project plans, milestones, actions, risks, issues and dependencies
  • Stakeholder management across multiple teams and functions
  • Project delivery experience
  • Project reporting and governance
  • Supporting business change, transformation or continuous improvement initiatives
  • Coordinating workstreams and ensuring activities are delivered on time
  • Producing high quality presentations and documentation
  • Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Working independently and taking ownership of deliverables
  • Experience within banking or financial services or another large regulated business.
  • Ideally you will have experience with business resilience, business continuity and operational risk.
