Job Description
We are seeking a Transformation PMO Analyst, to support the work required to deliver Company OKR 5: Transforming our internal Sage operating system, by reimagining skills, processes and technology.
Reporting to the Vice President, Growth Transformation, this role will keep the programmes of work running smoothly day to day — maintaining plans, tracking milestones, risks and actions, producing accurate reporting, and coordinating the governance rhythm across multiple workstreams.
You will be the person who keeps the single source of truth accurate and up to date, ensuring there is always the clarity and confidence to deliver at pace.
This is a hybrid role - 3 days in the office
Key Responsibilities
Planning & Tracking
- Maintain the integrated programme plan — Milestones, dependencies, RACI and key dates across all programmes of work
- Track progress against milestones, proactively chasing updates from workstream leads and flagging slippage or risks to the Director.
- Own and maintain the RAID log (risks, actions, issues and decisions) as the single source of truth, ensuring it is accurate, current and actively managed.
- Keep programme dashboards, trackers and status data up to date and reconciled across workstreams.
- Support benefits and milestone tracking, gathering the data needed to evidence delivery against business case commitments.
Reporting & Governance
- Prepare weekly and monthly reporting packs, status reports and executive-ready dashboards, consolidating workstream updates into a single programme view.
- Coordinate the operating rhythm — scheduling and preparing weekly delivery reviews, monthly steering forums and quarterly check-ins; collating inputs, circulating agendas and capturing actions and minutes.
- Track actions and decisions through to closure, following up with owners to keep momentum high.
- Maintain governance artefacts, templates and the programme document repository (e.g. SharePoint), applying version control and PMO standards.
Coordination & Support
- Support the Director with day-to-day PMO tasks, coordination and ad hoc analysis.
- Coordinate cross-workstream dependencies, following up on hand-offs and flagging conflicts early.
- Help onboard workstream contributors to PMO standards, templates and tools, promoting consistency across the programme.
- Prepare clear, accurate briefing materials and one-pagers to support the Director in stakeholder and executive updates.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Actions and decisions tracked to closure, with risks and issues surfaced early.

- Positive feedback from the Director and workstream leads on the quality and responsiveness of PMO support.
Ideal Candidate
You are a highly organised, detail-oriented coordinator who takes pride in keeping complex delivery running smoothly behind the scenes. You are comfortable juggling multiple inputs and deadlines, chasing updates across teams, and turning scattered information into clear, accurate reporting. You bring:
- 2–4 years of experience in a PMO, programme or project coordination, or business analyst role ideally within a transformation, change or delivery environment.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail, with a track record of maintaining plans, RAID logs, trackers and status reporting.
- Confidence with PMO tooling Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and project/planning tools (e.g. MS Project or Planner); familiarity with reporting and dashboards (Power BI a plus).
- Comfortable using AI and confident applying good AI skills to complete PMO tasks for example using AI assistants and Copilot to draft reporting, status updates and minutes, summarise workstream inputs, analyse plan and RAID data, and speed up routine coordination, while reviewing outputs for accuracy and quality.
- Good stakeholder and communication skills, with the confidence to chase updates, coordinate across workstreams and keep people to commitments.
- A working understanding of programme and project delivery methods (agile, waterfall, portfolio governance); a PMO or project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, APM, MSP or agile) is a plus.
- Familiarity with OKRs, benefits tracking and value-based prioritisation is desirable, as is exposure to data, digital and AI-enabled transformation.
- A proactive, can-do attitude and a bias for accuracy, pace and follow-through.
- Able to bring structure and clarity to ambiguous situations, proactively identifying next steps, managing uncertainty, and helping teams maintain focus and delivery momentum during periods of change.
