Senior Policy Advisor

We are looking for a Senior Policy Advisor to support the CPECC programme with the creation of effective new diplomatic alliances through convening and direct diplomacy supported by deep PE analysis of both country interests and the underlying politics of key institutions such as MDBs, as well as new diplomatic products, CPECC will also support the building of new political coalitions to accelerate multilateral climate action.

Background

We work on the frontier of the climate landscape tackling the barriers and advancing the solutions to a safe climate for all. We translate climate politics, economics and policies into action. E3G is consistently ranked as one of the top-ten most influential environmental think tanks in the world by the University of Pennsylvania’s Global Go To Think Tank Index.

E3G is dedicated to fostering an engaging work environment with a competitive remuneration package in the non-profit sector. E3G offers a dynamic and fast paced working environment that will value your insight and initiative wherever you are in the organisation. We take pride in our team's commitment, supportiveness, and friendliness. We invest in our staff, offer flexible working conditions and pride ourselves on being an open and collaborative workplace.

Role Overview

The primary purpose of this role is to contribute to the Centre for Political Economy and Climate Change’s (CPECC) political economy research, analysis, intelligence gathering and stakeholder management. As part of this work, this will also include supporting our new Information Integrity workstream. The role will also support the buildout of two new CPECC functions: an Intelligence Briefing Service and a Strategic Function.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
