About PF Global
PF Global gives advice built on deep sector expertise, underpinned by global opinion and economic research, so you can win the arguments that will decide your future.
We are oriented around the debates that will matter most to the future, where the intersection of policy, politics, and regulation will decide what happens. We will tell you honestly what is politically possible (and what is not) and then help make your case by building the research, the story and the campaign that goes with it.
You’ll work alongside colleagues with diverse skills, gain exposure to senior clients, and have real opportunities to develop your career as part of our ambitious and supportive team.
Tech at PF Global
We help some of the world's most influential tech companies navigate a fast-changing policy landscape. Our Tech, Media & Telecoms team works on the issues that define the digital age, from AI and copyright to online safety, digital competition, data and the future of connectivity. These are debates that move quickly, matter enormously, and will shape the UK's economy for years to come.
We combine deep policy and political expertise with our own polling and economic research to help clients understand these debates and win them. Recent projects include measuring the economic impact of major tech platforms in more than 20 countries, estimating TikTok's economic impact in the UK and US, launching YouTube's creator consultation in the UK and Europe, and polling on attitudes to technology and AI for IAB UK and the Centre for Democracy and Technology. We also advise clients on their strategy, campaigns, policy priorities and engagement with government, Parliament and regulators.
The role
We're looking for a senior policy manager who wants more than just a job. You'll be at the heart of our work for some of the world's leading technology companies, with the freedom to shape ideas, develop policy and influence the biggest debates facing tech today.
You'll develop the policy ideas and analysis, briefings and submissions that shape our clients' thinking, and lead their parliamentary activity, from select committee preparation to engagement on legislation. You'll advise clients directly, working closely with our partners and senior advisers, and take ownership of your work from first draft to final advice. This role suits someone who combines sound judgement with the ability to deliver high-quality work at pace.
What you will do
- Develop policy: Research issues in depth and develop credible policy positions and original proposals that clients can take to decision makers.
- Produce political intelligence: Track Parliament, government and regulators, and write sharp weekly analysis, look-aheads and early warnings of where policy and politics are moving.
- Write submissions: Draft consultation responses and evidence to government, parliamentary inquiries and regulators, from first analysis to final version, bringing together input from across the team and client.
- Prepare clients for select committees: Write witness packs, including key messages, Q&As and member briefings, and run rehearsal sessions.
- Draft engagement materials: Write narratives, position papers, briefing notes, ministerial letters and leave behind materials, and build stakeholder engagement plans.
- Advise on political and stakeholder strategy: Help clients decide where to focus, who to engage and how, across core stakeholder groups.
- Manage client accounts: Act as a primary point of contact for multiple clients, building trusted relationships with in house policy and public affairs teams and making sure work is delivered on time.
- Mentor and develop colleagues: Support junior team members, review their work and help build a high-performing, collaborative team.
- Help grow the business: Identify opportunities to expand existing work, contribute to new business pitches, and use your network to bring insight to clients and the team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
