We are seeking a talented individual to join our Political Risk & Structured Credit team at Marsh Risk. This role will be based in London. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
As a senior member of Marsh’s Political Risk & Structured Credit (PRSC) team in the UK, you will have a key level of responsibility for the management, servicing, and revenue / growth of a major public agency client account.
We will count on you to:

- Take the lead on projects (internal and external) which may be requested from time-to-time.
- Support senior colleagues in the achievement of the PRSC annual budget / wider objectives and personally contribute in the overall achievement of the public agency client’s revenue target (and wider team target, as applicable).
- Actively mentor and develop more junior colleagues and motivate others to excel.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
