Job Title: Senior Portfolio Analyst Contract
Type: Temporary (until December 2026)
Location: Wokingham / Warwick / London (Hybrid Working)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Senior Portfolio Analyst to join our Enterprise Portfolio Office (EPO). In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in managing our organisation's portfolio, ensuring that we align our investments with strategic objectives and drive towards our net-zero goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Planning: Assist in developing and maintaining portfolio plans to ensure alignment across programmes and projects.
- Portfolio Pipeline Management: Track and manage the Enterprise Portfolio pipeline to ensure all demand is captured accurately.
- Approvals Management: Coordinate the portfolio “front door” process, ensuring completeness of submissions and supporting governance.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing processes and tools through stakeholder feedback and data insights.
- Financial Management: Support portfolio financial tracking and reporting to provide timely insights on budgets and forecasts.
- Data & Management Information: Create high-quality portfolio data and reporting to inform decision-making.
- Governance Support: Prepare materials for governance forums and ensure data accuracy for effective decision-making.

What You Bring:
We are looking for someone who:
- Is passionate about portfolio management and understands its strategic importance.
- Has solid experience (3-5 years) in a Portfolio Office or Enterprise PMO.
- Possesses strong analytical skills in data analysis, reporting, and Management Information (MI).
- Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Is adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Brings experience in governance processes and approvals.
- Is a team player with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Qualifications:
- Professional certification in portfolio/programme/project management (e.g., MSP, MoP, PRINCE2, APM) or equivalent experience.
