Senior Portfolio Co-ordinator

We're looking for a Senior Portfolio Co-ordinator to join our team and support the Financial Growth Portfolio and Experience & Revenue Directorate.

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of one of the National Trust's most important strategic priorities. You'll support the successful delivery of high-profile initiatives that help drive growth, improve visitor and supporter experiences, and deliver long-term impact across the organisation.

Internally you’ll be known as a Senior Project Co-ordinator.

What it's like to work here

You'll join a supportive team working on high-profile strategic priorities across the organisation. Collaborating with colleagues from different teams, you'll support initiatives that drive growth, improve performance and deliver organisational change.

We're committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and able to succeed. We welcome applicants from a wide range of backgrounds and are interested in the skills, experience and potential you'll bring to the role.

Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office. However, there is flexibility on where you are based at other times. You will be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview.

What you'll be doing

You'll provide high-quality coordination, administration and delivery support across a portfolio of strategic initiatives and directorate priorities. You'll coordinate meetings, workshops and events, support project planning and governance, manage actions and key documentation, and prepare reports, presentations and communications. Working closely with senior leaders and stakeholders, you'll help keep priorities on track, maintain portfolio records and reporting, and identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working. No two days are the same, offering a varied role with real impact across the organisation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
