THE ROLE

As Senior Portfolio Management Lead, you will play a central role in helping Climate Impact Partners develop high-quality, commercially competitive solutions that meet evolving client needs.

Acting as a key link between Sales, Primary and Secondary Sourcing, Pricing, Fulfilment, and Due Diligence teams, you will help translate client requirements into portfolio solutions that are credible, deliverable, and aligned with market dynamics. While this role does not own client relationships or business development activities, it is instrumental in shaping the portfolio strategies, commercial analyses, and proposal content that underpin successful client engagements.

Working closely with the Portfolio Management Director, you will support the strategic and operational management of Climate Impact Partners' environmental portfolio across both primary and secondary markets. You will contribute to portfolio planning, commercial structuring, market intelligence, and opportunity assessment, helping ensure our portfolio remains high quality, balanced, and responsive to client demand.

The role provides the analytical, operational, and commercial backbone behind client proposals and portfolio decisions, enabling Climate Impact Partners to respond effectively to market opportunities while maintaining a differentiated and resilient supply portfolio. This is a highly visible role with significant cross-functional exposure and direct influence on commercial outcomes.

Responsibilities

Client Solutions & Commercial Support

  • Lead the development of portfolio solutions, proposal content, and RFP responses that meet client requirements and commercial objectives.
  • Partner with Sales, Sourcing, Fulfilment, and Due Diligence teams to translate client needs into credible and deliverable portfolio recommendations.
  • Support commercial decision-making through portfolio analysis, market insights, and project evaluations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of proposal tools, processes, and knowledge resources that enhance the quality and efficiency of client submissions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
