If so, we have a new and exciting role for you: Senior Portfolio Marketing Manager for Vodafone Business’ Connectivity, Unified Communications and Managed Services portfolios.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and execute the product marketing vision and strategy for Vodafone Business’ Connectivity & Unified Communications products and services based on an understanding of our product portfolio, customer needs, market trends, competitive landscape and business goals.
  • Drive product growth and success by leading a portfolio marketing team that effectively positions and messages the value of our Connectivity & Unified Communications portfolios, including a range of managed services.
  • Take accountability for and be the lead point-of-contact for Connectivity & Unified Communications portfolio marketing, including a range of managed services, working with your team to deliver the right activity on time.
  • Lead and develop a high performing team of product marketing professionals - building a culture of engagement, performance and wellbeing to enable Portfolio Marketing Team success.
  • Partner with the Portfolio Leads and Local Marketing Teams to build and manage delivery of the annual portfolio marketing plans for Vodafone Business Connectivity & Unified Communications, including a range of managed services.
  • Acts as the voice of the customer, translating deep audience insight, market trends and buyer behaviours into clear positioning, messaging and product direction - serving as the go-to subject matter expert.
  • Define and maintain product and service-based positioning for the Vodafone Business Connectivity & Unified Communications, aligning to our overall brand positioning.
  • Build and use a deep understanding of Vodafone Business’ Connectivity and/or Unified Communications products and services to create clear, credible messaging.
  • Team leadership in developing high-quality buyer-enabled content across the buyer’s process such as presentations, datasheets, whitepapers, case studies, video, interactive tools and web content.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product positioning and marketing strategies.
  • Lead Local Market Connectivity and/or Unified Communications portfolio marketing relationships.
  • Work across our Portfolio Marketing team to build multi-portfolio, multi-product messaging and stories.
  • Serve as a subject matter marketing expert on Connectivity and/or Unified Communications providing support, insights and knowledge to internal stakeholders, such as our global and in-country marketing, sales and product teams.
  • Partner closely with Product, Sales and Marketing to participate in designing products and services that respond to customer needs.
  • Grow our portfolio marketing relationships with Technology partners such as Arista, Cisco, Fortinet, Microsoft and RingCentral to enrich and accelerate our work.
  • Represent Team and present at Leadership, Partner, Local Marketing and Portfolio meetings, as needed.
  • Establish team ways of working to ensure all budget management, reporting standards are met.

Who you are

  • Significant experience in a B2B product marketing role focused on Connectivity and/or Unified Communications
  • Proven track record of successfully developing positioning and messaging for Connectivity and/or Unified Communications including managed services, based on data and insights.
  • Demonstrated experience in producing a range buyer-led content to accelerate revenues by across complex Connectivity and/or Unified Communications B2B buying journeys
  • Deep understanding of the Connectivity and/or Unified Communications market landscape
  • Working knowledge of customer needs and challenges across the spectrum of customer segments and verticals
  • History in managing complex budgets across CAPEX, OPEX and Partner MDF
  • Capability to balance vision and tactical team-based execution
  • Strong people leadership skills, stakeholder management and influence without authority, across a matrix organisation
  • A passion for developing and coaching a direct team, backed up by examples
  • Ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels
  • Excellent writing skills - combined with the ability to explain and translate complex technical concepts into simple, technically relevant communications.
  • Minimum of 7 years of Connectivity and/or Unified Communications B2B senior product marketing experience, preferably with managed services
  • Leading a geo-dispersed team in a highly matrix organisation
