Senior Power BI Dashboard Developer - Snowflake
£650-£750 per day | Inside IR35 | 6-Month Contract | Hybrid (London)
About the Role
A leading financial services organisation is seeking a Senior Power BI Dashboard Developer to join a high-profile transformation programme focused on improving reporting, automation, and data-driven decision-making across the business.
This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and optimising enterprise-scale Power BI dashboards used by senior leadership. Working closely with business stakeholders and data teams, you'll help turn complex requirements into intuitive, high-performing reporting solutions.
The role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale data transformation initiatives, modern cloud-based data platforms, and a growing dashboard estate in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions
- Engage directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define reporting needs
- Create prototypes and dashboards from concept through to production
- Develop robust data models, DAX measures, and Power Query transformations
- Integrate data from SQL Server, Snowflake, and enterprise data platforms
- Support data migration and transformation projects
- Optimise dashboard performance, scalability, and usability

Required Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial experience with Power BI
- Advanced SQL / SQL Server expertise
- Experience working with Snowflake
- Strong data modelling skills
- Advanced DAX and Power Query (M)
- ETL and data integration experience
- Experience delivering enterprise reporting solutions
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Agile delivery experience
Desirable Experience
- Financial Services, Banking, or Investment Management experience
- Microsoft Fabric
- Databricks
- Python or PySpark
- Data migration and transformation programmes
- Team leadership or mentoring experience

Contract Details
- £650-£750 per day
- Inside IR35

- Central London Office (3 Days Per Week)
- Potential opportunity to extend beyond the initial term.
