NEW SENIOR ELECTRONICS DESIGN ENGINEER JOB IN ILFRACOMBE.
Our client is seeking a talented and commercially aware Senior Electronics Design Engineer within Power Electronics to join their growing engineering team.
They are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join a growing Standard Products Development team within a global technology leader. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of cutting edge power supply designs, influence product development, and provide technical leadership within a highly skilled engineering environment.
You will play a key role in designing and delivering high performance AC DC and DC DC power supplies, working from concept through to production with a strong focus on quality, cost, and reliability.

Responsibilities as a Senior Electronics Design Engineer in Ilfracombe:
- Design and develop AC DC and DC DC power supplies to meet customer and market requirements
- Select appropriate power conversion topologies, components, and define bill of materials
- Produce schematics, technical documentation, and collaborate closely with PCB design teams
- Lead development projects, ensuring delivery to time, cost, and performance targets
- Investigate and evaluate new technologies and topologies for future products
- Mentor and support junior engineers, providing technical leadership across the team

Requirements as a Senior Electronics Design Engineer in Ilfracombe:
- Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience
- In depth knowledge of power conversion topologies such as buck, boost, and LLC
- Experience or exposure to advanced topologies such as Dual Active Bridge is highly desirable
- Proven experience designing from concept or blank sheet through to production
