Senior Power Platform Developer
Salary: up to £65,000 + 10–15% bonus
Hybrid working: 2-3 days onsite per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Power Platform Developer to join a busy and successful IT Development team. The role will work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to deliver enterprise-scale automation, applications and integrations across the Microsoft Power Platform. This is a senior position combining hands-on technical delivery with technical leadership, governance and mentoring responsibilities.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, testing and release of complex solutions across the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Work closely with stakeholders to analyse requirements and design scalable, efficient solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring and code review to developers within the team.
- Define and promote development standards, best practice and governance across Power Platform solutions.
- Ensure solutions meet appropriate security, data governance and change management standards.
- Design and implement integrations with Microsoft 365, Azure services, APIs and third-party systems.
- Work as part of an Agile/Scrum team, contributing to planning, estimation and delivery.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and ensure effective handover to support teams.
- Provide high-level support and troubleshooting for business-critical applications.
- Drive continuous improvement across processes, tooling and Power Platform capability.
- Explore opportunities to utilise AI, automation and emerging Microsoft technologies.

The Ideal Candidate
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse.
- Strong experience delivering enterprise-grade solutions and leading technical design.
- Experience working with integrations, APIs and Azure services.
- Strong understanding of Power Platform governance, security and environment strategy.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and/or C#.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams and using Azure DevOps.
- Strong analytical, methodical and problem-solving approach.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring and supporting junior developers.

Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
- Experience with Power BI and reporting solutions.
- Experience leveraging AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, generative AI or intelligent agents.
- Experience working within professional services.
- Experience supporting digital transformation or business change programmes.
