Required Experience – GE PowerOn Advantage ADMS, OMS, OT systems, integrations

Location – London, UK

Compensation – Competitive (including bonus)

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced PowerOn Advantage ADMS consultant who can bridge utility operations, support SSEN’s ADMS upgrade, OMS transition and OT integration workstreams. The role needs hands-on understanding of GE PowerOn, utility OT operations, SCADA/OMS flows, integration patterns and control room readiness. The consultant should be able to work with SSE/SSEN architecture, cyber, infrastructure, GE and subcontractor teams to convert discovery into practical delivery actions.

The candidate should be comfortable operating in a complex multi-vendor environment, asking the right questions, identifying risks early and helping SSEN move from discovery to execution.

Key Responsibilities

PowerOn ADMS / OMS

  • Support ADMS upgrade validation, environment readiness and functional impact assessment.
  • Assess OMS migration impacts from SIMS to PowerOn OMS, including outage, incident, call, crew and restoration workflows.
  • Identify standard PowerOn capability versus SSEN-specific customization or configuration needs.
  • Support PowerOn Mobile and regulatory reporting configuration assessment.

OT Architecture and Infrastructure

  • Work with cyber, infrastructure and architecture teams on OT/HOTi placement, L2/L3 network impacts and virtualization dependencies.
  • Support sizing inputs and application dependency mapping for ADMS environments.
  • Clarify operational ownership gaps around RTU commissioning, OT networking and application support.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
