Senior PPC Executive – Macclesfield
I’m currently recruiting for a Senior PPC Executive on behalf of a rapidly growing global lead generation business based in Macclesfield.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing performance marketing team managing multi-million-pound budgets across international markets. The successful candidate will take ownership of Google Ads activity across multiple products and verticals, with a particular focus on Search and Performance Max.
The role:
- Managing and optimising Google Ads campaigns across multiple markets.
- Developing strategies across products, regions and audience segments.
- Building and optimising Performance Max asset groups, audience signals and feed strategies.
- Analysing performance against key metrics including leads, CPL, ROAS, ROI and EPL.
- Conducting search term analysis and reviewing audience insights.
- Supporting creative testing and conversion pathway optimisation.
- Working closely with data, tracking, design and media teams.
- Refining bidding strategies, campaign structures and automation workflows.
- Contributing to reporting, testing roadmaps and wider paid search strategy.
- Keeping up to date with Google Ads developments, automation and AI tools.

About you:
- At least three years’ hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns.
- Strong experience across both Search and Performance Max.
- A solid understanding of lead generation and performance marketing metrics.
- Experience managing large budgets and scaling campaigns.
- Strong knowledge of Google Ads features, bidding strategies and account structures.
- Confidence using Google Sheets, Excel and AI tools.
- An analytical, proactive and commercially minded approach.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
Experience with international campaigns, particularly across the UK and US, would be advantageous. Exposure to Microsoft Ads, Demand Gen, GA4, Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking, feed-based campaigns or PPC automation would also be beneficial.

This is an office-based, full-time position in Macclesfield, working closely with the paid media lead and supporting a wider PPC team that includes a junior executive.
