Practice Manager | Route to Equity Partnership | Construction Division
Hybrid Working | £55,000 - £70,000 DOE + Equity Partnership Opportunity
Ready to become a Partner instead of waiting years for the opportunity?
We're exclusively representing a modern, cloud-based Chartered Accountancy Practice with offices in London, Hertfordshire and Scotland.
Due to continued growth, we're looking to appoint an ambitious Practice Manager to lead and grow the firm's Construction Division, with a genuine opportunity to become an Equity Partner within approximately 12 months, subject to performance.
This is far more than a traditional portfolio management role.
You'll work directly alongside the Managing Partner to help shape the future of the practice, develop the Construction division and become part of the firm's long-term leadership team.
The Role
As Practice Manager, you'll take responsibility for the firm's Construction client portfolio while leading a team of approximately 4-5 accountants across both the UK and offshore operations.
Your focus will be on developing client relationships, delivering strategic advice and driving the continued growth of the Construction division.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
