Senior Practitioner Educational Psychologist - Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD)

This is a part-time role (18.5 hours per week)

We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Educational Psychologist to join our creative and friendly service at an exciting time in Sheffield.

We are looking to recruit a 0.5 Senior Practitioner EP (FASD) to support the inclusion of pupils who have a diagnosis, or suspected diagnosis of FASD. The EP in this role would be responsible for strategic oversight and coordination of support, as part of a multi-agency team for pupils, and will include overseeing casework, delivering education-based training, and contributing to multi-agency working groups and projects across the city.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Oversight and Coordination: Oversee casework and coordinate support for pupils diagnosed or suspected of having FASD.
  • Education-Based Training: Deliver training to support inclusion and understanding of FASD.
  • Multi-Agency Collaboration: Contribute to working groups and projects across the city.

About the Role

We are expanding the number of EPs in the Service, and we have also recruited a substantial team of Assistant Educational Psychologists, to work in partnership with EPs, and other professionals, through collaborative working. We are keen to further develop our consultation model of service delivery and our approach to co-producing assessments through joint working with families, schools, and other key education, health, and care professionals.

About Us

We are a values-driven EP Service with all members of the team participating in a collaborative and innovative leadership model to drive us forward. Keeping children at the heart of everything we do, we are solution-focused, person-centred, inclusive, reflective, and committed to ethical practice.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
