Senior Pre-Construction Manager – Fit Out
£120,000 - £140,000 + Bonus + Benefits
The Shore Group has partnered with a highly regarded Workplace Fit Out Contractor to recruit a Senior Pre-Construction Manager for their expanding team. This role will appeal to accomplished pre-construction professionals currently operating within the traditional fit out and design & build sector who understand what it takes to secure, shape and mobilise high-value workplace projects.
We're looking for an individual who has built their career within established fit out contractors, understands the realities of project delivery and can bridge the gap between winning work and successfully delivering it. You'll be confident engaging with clients, consultants and professional teams, whilst working closely with operational, commercial and design functions to ensure every project is positioned for success from day one.
If you're currently leading pre-construction activity within the workplace fit out market and are looking for a business where your expertise, relationships and commercial judgement will have a genuine influence on growth, this is an opportunity worth exploring.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
