Cisco Pre-Sales Consultant (Secure Infrastructure)
Remote Working
Salary: £65-85k + Car Allowance + Benefits depending on experience and certifications
We’re looking for an experienced Cisco Pre-Sales Consultant to drive strategic engagement across enterprise Cisco and Meraki environments, shaping long-term infrastructure roadmaps and secure network transformation for key customers.
This is a senior, consultative role combining technical design, architecture, and thought leadership across secure networking, with a strong focus on aligning technology solutions to business outcomes, security frameworks, and modern cloud-ready architectures.
Key Focus Areas
- Lead pre-sales engagement across Cisco & Meraki enterprise customers
- Design secure, scalable infrastructure roadmaps (LAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, Datacentre & Security)
- Develop high-level and low-level designs aligned to best practice architecture principles (TOGAF, CIS, NIST, ISO27001)
- Act as technical authority across Cisco security stack including:
- Catalyst
- Nexus
- ACI
- DNA Center
- ISE
- FTD
- Umbrella
- Duo
- Secure Access & Meraki
- Define segmentation, identity, and Zero Trust architectures
- Support customer workshops, strategy sessions, and technical validation
- Engage with vendors and internal teams to shape solution direction and capability development
- Contribute to automation and modern service evolution (APIs, Python, Ansible, DevNet, cloud integrations)

About You
- Strong Cisco enterprise and security background (CCNP minimum; CCIE desirable/on track)
- Deep experience in secure network design, architecture, and pre-sales consulting
- Strong understanding of enterprise security frameworks and identity-driven networking
- Familiar with automation concepts and API-driven networking (Python/Ansible desirable)
- Able to translate technical design into clear business outcomes
- Confident in customer-facing, strategic discussions at senior level
