As a Senior Presales Consultant, you will support our continued international growth and contribute to complex enterprise sales opportunities within the Banking and Financial Services sector. Acting as a trusted advisor to prospective clients, the successful candidate will combine strong business understanding, solution consulting expertise, and technical awareness to translate customer needs into compelling, value-driven software solutions.

Working closely with Sales, Product Management, Professional Services, and Delivery teams, you will take ownership of the solution narrative throughout the presales lifecycle, from discovery and qualification to demonstrations, proposals, workshops, and handover to implementation.

What You Will Do

  • Lead discovery sessions and stakeholder workshops to understand business objectives, operational challenges, functional requirements, and technical constraints.
  • Translate customer needs into tailored solution propositions, high-level designs, use cases, and clear business value narratives.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging product presentations, demonstrations, solution walkthroughs, and executive-level briefings for business and technical audiences.
  • Support the end-to-end sales cycle, including opportunity qualification, solution scoping, proposal development, RFI/RFP responses, proof-of-concept activities, and commercial discussions.
  • Coordinate input from Sales, Product, Delivery, Information Security, Legal, and other subject-matter experts to produce accurate, consistent, and competitive responses.
  • Assess solution fit and implementation feasibility, identifying assumptions, dependencies, risks, integration considerations, and required third-party components.
  • Build trusted relationships with prospective clients and position Profile Software as a strategic technology partner.
  • Partner with Account Executives to develop deal strategies, address objections, and strengthen the business and technical case for the proposed solution.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of Profile Software solutions, product roadmaps, deployment models, and relevant market developments across banking, investment management, and financial technology.
  • Capture market and client feedback and collaborate with Product teams to support product positioning and future enhancements.
  • Contribute to reusable presales assets, including demo scenarios, proposal content, solution documentation, presentations, and best-practice material.
  • Ensure a structured handover of the agreed solution scope and commitments to Delivery and implementation teams.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
