Orange Malone is currently leading a confidential search for two senior actuaries for a global reinsurer:

Managing Actuary / Senior Pricing Actuary (London, hybrid)

Join the Global Financial Solutions team in a senior, commercially focused actuarial role where you'll work at the forefront of complex reinsurance and capital solutions transactions. Partnering closely with Business Development and senior stakeholders, you'll help originate, structure and price bespoke solutions across asset-intensive, financial reinsurance and longevity business, playing a key role in helping clients optimise capital, manage balance sheet risk and achieve their strategic objectives.

The role combines deep technical expertise with commercial influence. You'll oversee pricing, modelling, transaction structuring and risk analysis across a broad portfolio of opportunities, while guiding the technical direction of deals from initial client engagement through to execution. You'll also mentor and develop a high-performing actuarial team, contribute to pricing methodology and product strategy, and work closely with investment, finance and risk colleagues to deliver innovative solutions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

It's an opportunity to move beyond traditional pricing into a role where you'll influence transaction strategy, client outcomes and the continued growth of a highly regarded Global Financial Solutions platform.

Asset Intensive & Capital Solutions (AI&CS) Pricing Lead - focusing on Continental Europe (based in European offices or London, hybrid)

This isn't a traditional pricing role. It's a strategic leadership position where you'll partner directly with the regional executive team to shape the commercial agenda, evaluate complex AI&CS opportunities and determine where capital can be deployed to generate the strongest long-term value.

Technically, the role sits at the heart of funded reinsurance, capital solutions and asset-intensive transactions, requiring deep expertise in pricing long-duration liabilities, ALM, risk-adjusted pricing and transaction structuring. Just as importantly, you'll influence which opportunities are pursued, balancing commercial ambition with disciplined pricing and capital allocation.

You'll also lead the Continental European pricing function, helping shape pricing strategy while working closely with business development, investments, finance and risk to execute some of the market's most sophisticated transactions.

It's a high-profile appointment with genuine strategic influence, offering the opportunity to shape a growing business rather than simply price deals.
