About Accelerant

Accelerant is a data-driven risk exchange connecting underwriters of specialty insurance risk with risk capital providers. Accelerant was founded in 2018 by a group of longtime insurance industry executives and technology experts who shared a vision of rebuilding the way risk is exchanged – so that it works better, for everyone. The Accelerant risk exchange does business across more than 20 different countries and 250 specialty products, and we are proud that our insurers have been awarded an AM Best A- (Excellent) rating. Role Overview

As a Senior Actuary at Accelerant, you will join the UK/EU Actuarial Pricing Team, dedicated to ensuring the profitability of the MGAs we work with and providing meaningful data-driven insights. You will evaluate new MGA opportunities, as well as provide actuarial support for a panel of current MGA Members. You will work closely with the Underwriting, Distribution, Claims, and Technology teams. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled actuary who is passionate about working with data, technically proficient, curious about understanding new insurance products (predominantly P&C and Professional lines), and a clear communicator.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
