Do you have previous experience working as a Pricing or Actuarial Analyst within GI or PMI? Do you have programming knowledge of SQL, R, Python, SAS or similar and experience of Emblem, Radar or Earnix?

If so, you might be interested in our new Senior Pricing Analyst role working within our growing Pricing Team

Package: £55,500 to £66,500 per annum depending on experience, with excellent benefits

Location: We are flexible on the location for this role, it can be based fully remote in the UK (including a streamlined remote on-boarding process), hybrid or based within our office in Amesbury.

What you’ll get up to as a Senior Pricing Analyst

As we continue to expand our business, we are looking for motivated Senior Pricing Analysts to join the team and take a hands-on role analysing and improving our pricing strategies and commercial decisions. These positions will be sat within our Street Pricing and Technical Pricing areas. These positions allow for the opportunity for end-to-end dealings with major stakeholders in the business giving you full business exposure from day one.

What We Look For In You

  • Degree educated with a strong numerical content, preferably 2:1 or above
  • Background in GI or PMI with experience of pricing techniques
  • Considerable experience of pricing tools such as Emblem or Radar would be beneficial
  • Advanced capability with at least one statistical programming language such as R or Python
  • Expert capability handling structured data including the ability to query and manipulate (e.g. SQL)
  • Ability to build a GLM and interpret model outputs in the context of insurance applications
  • Ability to communicate complex matters simply
  • Comfortable to work independently, but also within a team
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills
  • Genuine interest in innovation and new techniques
