Description
The Senior Pricing Analyst will be reporting into the Portfolio & Pricing Manager and is responsible for developing and managing analytical tools and strategies to evaluate and monitor risk-adjusted returns across portfolios, ensuring effective pricing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Pricing Analysis: Utilising statistical techniques and data analysis to assess portfolio-level risk, returns, volatility, and risk-aligned pricing.
- Portfolio Monitoring: Identifying trends, risks, and opportunities across customer segments using advanced analytics to ensure portfolio performance is in alignment with risk and return targets.
- Policy and Strategy Development: Supporting the creation of pricing proposals and strategies.
- Data-Driven Insights: Delivering actionable insights and recommendations to optimise risk-adjusted returns, and creating/maintaining monitoring post strategy implementation.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Working with internal teams, including Capital Markets, Credit Risk, Commercial, Operations, and more.
- Analytical expertise and strong coding skills in SQL are essential.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- A degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Proficient in SQL, with Python experience highly beneficial.
- Experience with cash flow simulations and IRR / NPV calculations.
- Experience in pricing or portfolio management.
- Understanding of credit risk metrics (PD, LGD, EAD) and financial modelling.
- Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Experience with statistical analysis.
