Pricing Analyst – Aviation Finance & Aircraft Leasing

Worked within a leading global aircraft leasing platform, supporting the evaluation, pricing, structuring, and execution of aircraft lease and investment transactions across an international portfolio. Partnered closely with Origination, Marketing, Treasury, Legal, and senior leadership teams to assess transaction economics, investment returns, portfolio performance, and commercial opportunities.

The role provided broad exposure across financial modelling, aircraft valuation, transaction analysis, investment decision-making, and portfolio strategy, with a focus on translating detailed financial and market analysis into clear commercial recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluated aircraft and aircraft portfolio investment opportunities, analysing transaction economics, cash flows, valuation, risk, and potential returns.
• Built and maintained sophisticated financial models to assess lease structures, investment returns, transaction profitability, and portfolio-level scenarios.
• Performed aircraft and portfolio valuations using detailed cash flow analysis, market intelligence, lease assumptions, and residual value assessments.
• Analysed bespoke transaction structures and financing scenarios to assess risk-adjusted returns and identify key value drivers and downside sensitivities.
• Supported transaction execution by working closely with Origination, Treasury, Legal, Marketing, and commercial teams throughout the investment and leasing process.
• Conducted detailed financial and commercial analysis to support investment recommendations, pricing decisions, acquisitions, and refinancing opportunities.
• Identified key transaction risks, sensitivities, and performance drivers and incorporated these into financial models and investment analysis.
• Prepared transaction analyses, commercial materials, presentations, and recommendations for senior management and investment decision-makers.
• Monitored global aviation market trends, aircraft values, lease rates, financing conditions, and broader market developments to inform investment and portfolio decisions.
• Analysed individual aircraft and portfolio opportunities, including acquisition scenarios, lease structures, financing alternatives, and portfolio-level investment strategies.
• Collaborated with internal and external stakeholders throughout transaction processes, including financing partners, counterparties, advisors, and senior commercial teams.
• Supported strategic portfolio initiatives and contributed to the development of pricing methodologies, financial models, analytical processes, and internal reporting.
