Role Purpose
We are a newly established, fast-growing MGA that has recently launched a Private Motor product on UK Price Comparison Websites. We are heavily focused on new technology and making our customer experience as seamless as possible.
We are looking for a technically excellent pricing analyst or data scientist to join our small but high impact pricing team.
This role will support all aspects of end-to-end pricing, including the development, deployment, monitoring and maintenance of all pricing models, data and analytics pipelines.
We also work very closely with our underwriting, fraud, claims, technology and operations teams.
If you are a highly motivated problem solver that is keen to explore how modern tools can be used to scale your individual impact in a fast-paced, low-friction environment, then you might be who we are looking for.
This role would particularly suit someone looking to progress in their career as a senior individual contributor.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, monitor and maintain our key pricing models (including claims cost, market premium and behavioural models)
- Support high frequency trading decisions to continuously monitor and optimise portfolio performance
- Identify and implement opportunities to automate workflows and improve efficiency
- Ensure that pricing practices comply with relevant regulations and governance processes

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
