Help build the future of pet insurance!
We're creating something new at Pets at Home. Our Pet Insurance business is at the beginning of an exciting growth journey, combining the backing, brand and scale of the UK's leading pet care business with the pace, energy and influence of a start-up.
As a Senior Pricing Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our pricing strategy from the ground up. You'll have the opportunity to influence key commercial decisions, build innovative pricing models and help create products that deliver real value to pet owners.
What makes this opportunity different? Access to one of the richest pet care data ecosystems in the UK. Working alongside colleagues across our veterinary and wider Pets at Home businesses, you'll be able to leverage unique data assets and customer insights that most insurers simply don't have access to, enabling smarter pricing decisions and a deeper understanding of pet health and customer behaviour.
About the Role
Reporting into the Pricing Director, you'll use advanced analytics, statistical modelling and market insight to optimise pricing performance across our portfolio. Working closely with Underwriting, Claims, Finance, Commercial and Data teams, you'll help balance growth, customer value and long-term profitability.
Location: Remote working, with some requirement to travel to the Insurance Support Office (location tbc) and Pets at Home Support Office in Handforth (Cheshire) as required. Attendance at other national meetings, as required.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
