Are you passionate about using data science to solve complex pricing challenges?
A well-established global insurance provider is looking for a Senior Pricing Analyst or Pricing Lead to join its supportive Risk Pricing team, where you will directly influence pricing decisions, growth and profitability. It's a role with real scope to use modern techniques, and the team will invest in your development from day one.
Location: Based in central London, this hybrid role only needs you in the office one day a month, so it's commutable from a wide area including Milton Keynes, Northampton, Reading, Oxford and even Bristol!
Salary: up to £60,000 at Senior Analyst level or up to £75,000 at Pricing Lead level
Benefits: Private Medical Cover, Life Assurance x 4 base salary, Income Protection, 24 Days holiday, increasing with length of service, plus birthday off plus the option to buy extra holiday

What you'll be doing...
- Building and improving risk pricing models using GLMs and more advanced machine learning techniques
- Driving R&D and feature engineering to keep raising the sophistication of the team's models
- Monitoring expected loss ratios, risk mix and pricing assumptions, and turning findings into clear, actionable insight for the market pricing team
- Helping shape the processes and documentation that keep pricing outputs accurate and transparent
What you need to bring...
- Experience in general insurance pricing, ideally personal lines
- Strong analytical skills with large, complex datasets, using tools such as Python, R, SQL or SAS
- Great attention to detail and a track record of hitting deadlines
- Confident stakeholder management and the ability to explain technical work clearly

Experience with Emblem, Radar, Excel VBA or similar pricing software would be advantageous, as would knowledge of machine learning techniques and pricing optimisation.
