Senior Pricing Analyst

London - Hybrid, 1 day per week office based
Up to £50,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

The Role

As a Senior Pricing Analyst, you will work across a range of pricing initiatives, helping to optimise pricing strategy, improve portfolio performance and deliver commercial outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing pricing analytics and segmentation strategies across a range of products and customer groups
  • Identifying pricing opportunities through detailed performance analysis and market insight
  • Supporting pricing optimisation projects from conception through to implementation
  • Delivering clear analytical recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Working closely with pricing, underwriting, commercial and data science teams
  • Monitoring portfolio performance and recommending actions to improve business outcomes
  • Taking ownership of projects, market segments or strategic initiatives with visible business impact
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members where appropriate

Your Skills & Experience

You will have:

  • Experience in pricing analytics, pricing strategy, modelling, or quantitative analysis
  • Come from an Insurance, Travel, Telecoms, Lending or Gambling company
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • The ability to lead projects and deliver outcomes from initial scoping through to implementation
  • Commercial awareness and a curious, problem-solving mindset
  • Experience analysing large datasets and translating findings into actionable insight
  • Strong SQL and/or Python skills
  • Experience within insurance pricing is highly desirable, although candidates from other pricing or analytical backgrounds will also be considered
  • An interest in mentoring and supporting the development of others
