Senior Pricing Manager (Europe)
London | US Law Firm | Hybrid Working (3:2)
My US law firm client is looking to appoint a Senior Pricing Manager to lead its pricing function across Europe.
This is a senior, commercially focused role, working closely with Partners, Practice Leaders, Business Development, Finance, and firm leadership on pricing strategy, client negotiations, and profitability. You will also lead the European pricing team and play a key role in developing the firm’s wider global pricing capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead pricing support across Europe, acting as the region’s senior pricing contact
- Advise Partners and senior stakeholders on pricing strategy, commercial arrangements, and matter economics
- Develop pricing solutions for RFPs, panel appointments, rate reviews, and client negotiations
- Assess the financial and commercial impact of proposed fee arrangements and alternative fee structures
- Review existing pricing arrangements to identify opportunities to improve profitability and commercial performance
- Manage and develop the European pricing team, including work allocation, performance, and recruitment
- Work with global colleagues to enhance pricing processes, governance, systems, and technology
- Support greater Partner engagement with pricing tools, resources, and best practice
- Contribute to training on pricing strategy, fee negotiations, and commercial awareness

Experience Required
- Significant pricing, commercial finance, or profitability experience gained within a law firm environment
- Strong experience advising and influencing Partners and senior stakeholders
- Commercial experience covering fee negotiations, rate reviews, and alternative fee arrangements
- Previous team management or leadership experience
- Advanced financial modelling and Excel skills
- Strong analytical and commercial capabilities, with the ability to turn financial data into practical recommendations
- Experience with Power BI, Aderant Expert, SQL, or GenAI tools would be advantageous
- CIMA, ACCA, MBA, or a similar professional qualification would be beneficial but is not essential
