About Zego 🚀
At Zego, we're on a mission to do the good thing, not the insurance thing.
Insurance hasn't changed much in over a century. The way we live, work and travel has. We're building the real-time, AI-driven infrastructure that powers innovative insurance, so good drivers get cover that works the way they actually drive.
We're not just updating insurance; We're leading the AI evolution in insurance 🤖
For us, AI isn't a line on a roadmap or a buzzword on a slide. It's our operating reality, and it's how we build products that back drivers instead of the old insurance playbook.
We don't do things slowly, and we don't do bureaucracy. We back high-performance builders who want ownership, early responsibility and the chance to do the most career-defining work of their lives. You'll get the space to try things, the tools to move fast, and the room to see your ideas reach millions of drivers.
Do not take our word for it. Read what Zegons say about us on Glassdoor.
If you're ready to build the future of insurance, we're hiring.
Purpose of the role
As Senior Pricing Manager at Zego, you will be a key leader within the Commercial Product pricing function, responsible for shaping and executing pricing strategy across Personal Car products, markets, and customer segments. You will own complex pricing decisions end to end, balancing growth, profitability, and customer value, while ensuring pricing remains aligned with Zego’s broader commercial and strategic objectives.
Operating at senior level, you will act as a strategic partner to leadership, influence company wide decision making, and help scale pricing capability as Zego continues to grow in the UK and Europe. You will set direction, provide thought leadership, and raise the standard of pricing across the organisation.
What You Will Be Doing
- Partner with the Director of Pricing and senior leadership to define and execute pricing strategy that supports growth, profitability, and long term value creation.
- Own end to end pricing for a portfolio of products or initiatives, from strategic design through to launch, monitoring, and optimisation.
- Lead pricing decisions for new propositions, market entries, and major commercial changes, ensuring clear rationale, governance, and alignment with business goals.
- Develop and evolve pricing frameworks, methodologies, and performance metrics that can scale with the business.
- Provide clear commercial insight and recommendations through data driven analysis, translating complex pricing outcomes into actionable decisions for non technical stakeholders.
- Act as a thought leader for pricing, challenging existing approaches, driving innovation, and raising pricing maturity across the organisation.
- Mentor and develop other pricing team members, contributing to capability building, best practice, and a high performance culture.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What You Will Need To Be Successful
- Significant experience in Personal or Commercial Lines pricing, commercial strategy, or revenue management, with demonstrated ownership of complex pricing decisions in a fast paced environment.

- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, able to simplify complexity and influence decision making at executive level.

- Demonstrated people leadership or coaching experience, with a track record of developing others and elevating team performance.
- You work AI-first. You will use AI daily here, and we mean daily. You do not need to arrive an expert, but you do need to arrive curious, experiment fast, and take ownership of getting good quickly. People who wait to be trained will find this uncomfortable.
