Senior Pricing Manager – Insurance
📍Hybrid | Camden, London
💰 Up to £75,000
Role Overview:
As Senior Pricing Manager, you will own the commercial pricing approach across Onsi’s insurance portfolio. You will lead pricing for new products and partner renewals, perform detailed portfolio and loss-ratio analysis, and translate quantitative insights into clear commercial recommendations.
This is a senior, hands-on technical role combining insurance-pricing expertise, quantitative modelling, commercial judgement and strong carrier-management skills. You will independently operate and adapt our existing pricing models, understand and challenge their underlying actuarial and underwriting assumptions, and recognise when additional specialist input is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Pricing & Underwriting Performance
- New Business Pricing: Design, build, and deploy specialized pricing models and risk rate structures for new insurance products and prospective commercial deals.
- Complex Account Renewals: Lead the re-underwriting, loss performance modeling, and rate negotiation for client accounts and multi-carrier programs.
- Portfolio & Loss Ratio Analysis: Conduct quarterly loss ratio deep-dives across all product lines, evaluate loss development trends, and present strategic recommendations to carrier partners.
- Product Expansion (ODP): Price new On-Demand Pay (ODP) opportunities and model unit economics and performance metrics for existing ODP clients.
- AI Product & Services Pricing: Develop and evolve commercially sustainable pricing models for new AI-enabled products and services.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
