Senior Pricing Optimisation Manager
Drive smarter pricing through data, automation, and commercial innovation.
Your mission
As our new Senior Pricing Optimisation Manager, your mission is to own the performance and continuous evolution of our pricing engine, translating commercial strategy into scalable pricing logic that drives revenue, margin, and sustainable growth. Working in partnership with pricing platform providers, you'll use data, experimentation, and automation to reduce manual intervention, embed continuous learning into the pricing engine, and deliver commercially accountable optimisation at scale.
You'll play a pivotal role in shaping how we make pricing decisions—building scalable capabilities that balance commercial performance with operational efficiency while creating long-term value for the business.
What you'll be doing
- Own end-to-end pricing performance across revenue, margin, and growth objectives.
- Translate commercial strategy into clear pricing rules, parameters, and scalable pricing logic.
- Lead the governance, performance, and continuous optimisation of the pricing engine.
- Design and execute structured pricing experiments to validate hypotheses and improve commercial outcomes.
- Analyse pricing performance, demand signals, and model outputs to identify opportunities and resolve root causes.
- Convert one-off pricing interventions into repeatable, automated rules that improve scalability and consistency.
- Strengthen automation across pricing processes, reducing reliance on manual work and spreadsheets.
- Partner closely with pricing platform providers to enhance pricing capabilities and system performance.
- Ensure pricing logic remains scalable, stable, and aligned with commercial priorities.
- Support key trading periods while maintaining disciplined pricing governance and protecting core pricing logic.
- Communicate pricing strategies and decisions clearly to Commercial, Marketing, Data, and Technology stakeholders.
- Embed learnings from testing and performance analysis back into the pricing engine to drive continuous improvement.
Who we're looking for
You'll thrive in this role if you're a commercially minded problem solver who enjoys combining data, technology, and strategic thinking to deliver measurable business outcomes. You're naturally curious, embrace experimentation, and are motivated by creating scalable solutions rather than short-term fixes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
