Senior Pricing Risk Manager
North Co Recruitment are working with a leading global insurance group to appoint a Senior Pricing Risk Manager. This is a genuine step up for a pricing specialist ready to move from pricing execution into big picture strategic oversight, with direct influence over underwriting policy, product approval and exposure to Executives and regulators.
What you'll do
- Own the Product Approval Process, delivering independent second-line risk opinions across pricing, claims and portfolio decisions.
- Lead independent risk reviews of pricing, claims and portfolio management to challenge and inform business strategy.
- Present formal risk opinions to senior leadership on major pricing and claims-related projects.
- Shape underwriting and reinsurance policy across the business.
- Drive the ongoing implementation of the Risk Management Framework, keeping the organisation within its risk appetite.
- Partner with Risk, Compliance and senior stakeholders to embed risk thinking into strategic planning.

What we're looking for
- Proven expertise as a Risk Pricing Specialist, ideally within the UK retail insurance market.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and influence key relationships.
- Confidence engaging with Executives, Senior Management and regulators.
- Deep product and industry knowledge, underpinned by a solid understanding of the regulatory framework.
- Strong business acumen and a self-motivated approach to work.
- Ability to perform under time pressure without compromising on quality.
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Hybrid working applies, with a mix of home and office-based collaboration.

Salary: £75,000-100,000 base DOE, plus discretionary bonus
