Senior Pricing Strategy Analyst
Referral bonus: £750
Sapiens UK is seeking a commercially minded Senior Pricing Strategy Analyst to help shape pricing and packaging strategy across the business, as part of our go-to-market growth agenda.
Working Model: Hybrid (Flexible) London
Reporting to the Global Pricing Strategy Senior Manager, this role focuses on turning data into strategic pricing decisions. You will develop competitive benchmarks, packaging, segmentation analysis, and scenario work across licence, SaaS, services, and consumption-based pricing models. You’ll collaborate closely with Pricing Operations, who maintain pricing governance tooling, while your role centres on generating insightful, actionable recommendations from the data.
About the Role
This is a highly analytical yet strategically focused position. Your contributions will involve:
- Pressure-testing assumptions and validating assumptions with robust data
- Framing pricing solutions and using data to justify recommendations to senior leadership
- Informing strategic commercial decisions with clear, concise pricing insights
The role supports cross-functional teams including:
- Deal Desk, Sales Operations
- Finance, FP&A
- Divisional commercial leaders across:
- Property & Casualty
- Life & Pension
- Reinsurance
- AI Platform business
Sapiens is undergoing a major commercial shift towards a subscription-led, SaaS-first model with AI integrations. This role is central to shaping the new pricing and commercial strategy required to scale the transformation.

Key Responsibilities
- Translate data into strategy: Convert pricing/commercial insights into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
- Strategic deal advisory: Partner with Deal Desk and senior reviewers on complex deals (£$500K+ ARR) to frame pricing trade-offs.
- Sensitivity and scenario analysis: Test pricing decisions with modelling (e.g., competitive shifts, revenue recognition impacts) before executive review.
- Competitive intelligence: Maintain up-to-date pricing benchmarks to stay ahead in the market.
- SaaS & AI narrative development: Aid the transition to SaaS/AI by modelling impacts on revenue recognition, pricing structures, and migration incentives.
- Pricing governance: Work with Pricing Operations to analyse discounting patterns, exceptions, and approval thresholds.
- Performance insights: Transform data (e.g., indexation, renewal yield, win/loss) into actionable pricing strategies.
Experience & Skills Required
You are the perfect fit if you: ✔ Are an analyst who can bridge commercial acumen with data-driven recommendations. ✔ Have 5–8 years in:
- Pricing strategy, commercial analytics, or RevOps within enterprise B2B software/SaaS.
- Subscription/consumption-based models (track record of influencing pricing/commercial decisions). ✔ Can frame options and defend conclusions to non-analyst stakeholders (senior leaders, CFOs). ✔ Are proficient in:
- Scenarios & sensitivity analysis for high-stakes deals (£$500K+ ARR).
- Competitive benchmarking, segmentation and enterprise pricing models.
- Core tools: Excel, PowerPoint to synthesise insights.
- Bonus: Skilled in AI tools (e.g., Claude Cowork) for accelerated benchmarking/analysis. ✔ Have excellent communication skills—clear written and verbal delivery is critical for influencing decision-making.

Relevant Backgrounds Welcomed
- Pricing/commercial strategy professionals from licenced software transitioning to SaaS.
- SaaS pricing analysts experienced in:
- Enterprise licensing → subscription transitions.
- Consumption-based models and ARR/MRR valuation.
- Commercial finance/FP&A hybrids with hands-on pricing strategy experience.
