We are seeking a motivated Senior Associate or Principal Associate (minimum 4 years' PQE) to join our highly regarded Financial Services & Capital Markets team in London.
Working closely with our Partners, you will advise a broad range of UK and international clients on complex capital markets and corporate finance transactions. The role offers exposure to a diverse practice spanning equity capital markets, listed investment funds, fundraisings, public company transactions, regulatory matters and broader corporate advisory work.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused lawyer looking to build their practice within a collaborative, growing team that acts for listed companies, investment funds, fund managers, financial institutions, brokers and other capital markets participants.
In return, the team can offer excellent training and exposure to all types of capital market work with a view to building long term career opportunities within the firm.
About the role:
- Advising listed companies, investment funds and financial institutions on a broad range of capital markets transactions.
- Assisting clients with IPOs, secondary fundraisings, placings, rights issues and other equity capital markets transactions.
- Advising on stock exchange listings, ongoing disclosure obligations and public company governance matters.
- Advising investment funds throughout their lifecycle, including launches, fundraisings, restructurings and strategic transactions.
- Working closely with FCA-regulated fund managers and other financial services businesses on transactional and regulatory matters.
- Managing transactions from inception through to completion, including coordinating multi-disciplinary and cross-border teams where required.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives.
- Supporting and mentoring junior lawyers within the team.

About you:
Essential
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales (or equivalent common law jurisdiction).
- Minimum 4 years' PQE gained within a recognised corporate, capital markets or financial services practice.
- Strong experience advising on capital markets and corporate transactions.
- Excellent technical drafting and transaction management skills.
- Commercially minded with strong client-handling capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Enthusiasm for business development and client relationship management.
Desirable
- Experience advising listed companies and/or investment funds.
- Exposure to listed investment funds, REITs or other listed fund structures.
- Experience of IPOs, secondary fundraisings and broader equity capital markets transactions.
- Familiarity with FCA-regulated clients and financial services regulatory frameworks.
- Experience working on cross-border transactions.
