Location: Northallerton or Durham / Hybrid - (3 office / 2 home)
Salary: Competitive + 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, company pension, and other benefits including flexible working.

Align is a multi-award-winning, multidisciplinary property and infrastructure consultancy. We provide architectural, design, engineering, estates, commercial agency and wider consultancy services to clients across the public and private sectors.
Established in 2015 and wholly owned by North Yorkshire Council, Align has grown considerably – almost six times the size – and is now one of the largest multidisciplinary consultancies in the North of England, with a multi-million-pound turnover. We are only continuing to expand, with this new role reflecting that growth and representing an exciting opportunity to join us, as we embark on the next phase in our growth plan.
As our Senior Principal Surveyor, you will support the Technical Director of Estates in providing strategic leadership across our Estates services being provided for our national UK clients. You will help to set professional standards, guide technical assurance and create the conditions for the team to deliver high-quality and compliant work. This role focuses on shaping our service, developing our people, and strengthening client relationships, while overseeing project delivery at a strategic level and contributing to the continued growth and success of Align.
