Senior Associate Solicitor – Contentious Trusts & Probate – 6+ PQE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Associate Solicitor to join a highly regarded Private Client team specialising in Contentious Trusts & Probate matters.

This role is ideal for a commercially minded and technically strong solicitor looking to take on a leadership position within a growing and ambitious practice. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership while overseeing a close-knit team and managing a complex, high-quality caseload.

The Role

You will manage a broad range of contentious private client matters, including:

  • Will validity disputes
  • Claims involving lack of capacity and undue influence
  • Inheritance Act claims
  • Executor and trustee disputes
  • Breach of fiduciary duty claims
  • Estate administration disputes
  • Trust disputes
  • Proprietary estoppel claims

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 6 years’ PQE in Contentious Trusts & Probate matters
  • Strong experience managing complex disputes independently
  • Excellent client care and relationship management skills
  • Proven leadership and supervisory experience
  • A commercial and proactive approach to practice development
  • Strong organisational, communication, and analytical skills
  • The ability to thrive in a busy and collaborative environment
  • A compassionate and professional approach when dealing with sensitive client matters
