Senior Private Client Solicitor

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Private Client Solicitor to join a well-established and highly regarded law firm based in the North East.

The firm has a strong reputation for providing high-quality legal advice to individuals, families and businesses across the region, with a long-standing presence and an established client base.

You'll handle a varied and high-quality caseload across all aspects of private client work, including wills, trusts, tax planning, probate and estate administration, while providing clear, practical advice to a diverse client base.

As Head of Department, you'll also play a key role in supporting and developing the wider team, providing technical guidance and helping to maintain the firm's strong standards of client service. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career and have genuine influence over the development of a well-established private client practice.

About You

  • Qualified solicitor with strong experience across private client law
  • Broad technical knowledge covering wills, trusts, tax, probate and estate administration
  • Confident managing a varied caseload and advising clients with minimal supervision
  • Previous experience of supervising, mentoring or leading a team would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills
  • Commercial, proactive and solutions-focused approach
