Senior Process Engineer

Location: Esbjerg, Denmark

Contract Type: Residential - Contract

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 12 Months

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday

Work Arrangement: Full Time Onshore

Scope of Work

  • Utilize process calculation skills, tools, and experience to contribute to the research of technical solutions for upsets, shortfalls, instability, and bottlenecks.
  • Provide Tier 2 support, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
  • Review and validate work of Junior Process Engineers as required.
  • Provide training, coaching, and support to Process Engineers.
  • Independently lead initiatives and projects related to process engineering tasks.
  • Contribute to the operating philosophy and update operating limits.
  • Contribute on request to DGS and Integrity assessments.
  • Participate in various studies related to safe operations, integrity, new developments, and other relevant areas (e.g., Hazid/Hazop, RCA, pre-project, FMP).
  • Develop and update as required Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Process Datasheets & Specifications, and Cause and Effect Diagrams.
  • Document FMPs, Derogations, and related documentation.
  • Contribute to site surveys as required.

  • BSc in Science Petroleum Engineering.
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in the process industry, depending on seniority.
  • Proficiency with process simulation tools (e.g., Pro II, Hysys, Olga, Flare Sim).
  • Ability to work across functions.
  • Strong focus on HSE.
  • Fluency in English.
